Melaka’s Satay Celup-a must-try dish worth lining up for!
Cooked by dipping into a uniquely blended satay sauce
Celup" in Malay translates to "dip" or "immerse" in Chinese. What makes Satay Steamboat unique is that, unlike traditional hotpots which use soup broth, this version uses a specially blended satay (peanut) sauce as the base for cooking the ingredients. That’s why it’s called Satay Celup.
Generally, ingredients such as vegetables, seafood, or meats are skewered and then dipped into the satay hotpot to be cooked. They are then enjoyed with the uniquely blended satay sauce broth, offering a distinct and flavorful dining experience.
